Neverwinter Trailer: Rise of a New Module

A new content update (or what Perfect World calls a "module") to the free-to-play Neverwinter MMO is coming soon, and those entrenched in the world of Neverwinter will soon have an imposing new foe to worry about.

The official description of Rise of Tiamat sounds like we'll have a lot of work to do: "Leading to the culmination of the Season of Dragons, Neverwinter: Rise of Tiamat follows the events of the fourth Neverwinter module – Tyranny of Dragons – and the Siege of Neverwinter event. As the Cult of the Dragon look to resurrect the five-headed draconic goddess Tiamat from the Nine Hells, adventurers must band together to prevent the catastrophic takeover of the city of Neverwinter."

The new update will also offer a new paragon path for the Scourge Warlock class, which will allow new ways to play in both solo and group play. New loot will also be available for the max level players, giving everyone a reason to check out the new content.

New content that expands the world and lore of an MMO is always a welcome thing, as a new excuse to jump back into a game we might have been finished with is never a bad thing. We hope that the Rise of Tiamat will be a great addition to the Neverwinter experience, and we'll be able to find out soon enough.
