A minor issue has caused Monaco's Xbox Live Arcade release to be delayed a bit.

Originally slated to arrive on Wednesday for both Steam and XBLA, Monaco will unfortunately miss its anticipated arrival on the 360. The Steam version is just fine however, and you can go play that right now if you wanted.

The Monaco dev team took to Facebook to break the news to fans hoping to finally get their hands on the indie game. "We just discovered that there is an issue which requires that we push back our Xbox Live arcade game release date a little," said the statement. "We've already submitted an update to Microsoft to fix the problem, and as soon as we know that the issue is fixed we'll have a new release date. I know our fans have been waiting a long time for the game, and hopefully they'll have the patience to wait just a little while longer. What's mine will be yours very, very soon!"

We'll be keeping a close eye on further updates from the team, as Monaco is a game we've been looking forward to enjoying for quite some time. Hopefully the wait for the XBLA version won't be too long.
