Microsoft to Tweak Xbox One Controller for Titanfall
Microsoft is going to be making changes to the Xbox One controller ahead of Titanfall's March 11 release.
According to The Verge, the changes will make the controller's analog sticks a lot more precise. This particular tweak was at the request of the folks at Respawn Entertainment, the studio working on Titanfall. In an interview with The Verge, Justin Henry, a design lead at Respawn, said, "It's just fixing the controller input, really. It wasn't really where we felt it should be; it was a little overly twitchy with the current controls. Now it's fixed. We're happy with it."
An update to the story offers a statement from a Microsoft spokesperson, who said that the tweaks will be part of the Xbox One's update in February. According to the spokesperson, the tweak will "increase the sensitivity of the outer bounders of the thumbsticks on the Xbox One controller." No special action is required to apply the update, since it will automatically take effect once the controller syncs with the console.
