Round two for the Madden NFL 25 Cover Vote is over, with NFL greats Barry Sanders and Jerry Rice, as well as Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, each receiving 90 percent of the vote in their matchups. Over 7.8 million votes were tallied for round two.

Other notable victories in the second round had Super Bowl champ Ray Lewis besting LaDanian Tomlinson, newbie quarterback Russell Wilson beating Von Miller, and New England Patriot tight end Rob Gronkowski vanquishing heralded New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis.  Morning talk show host Michael Strahan also survived his battle with Kurt Warner.

With round three, the stiff competition includes old school quarterbacks Dan Marino facing off against Joe Montana.  In the new school section, quarterbacks Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson go head to head, with the victor taking on either Colin Kaepernick or Arian Foster in the semi-finals.

Third round voting is currently open at ESPN.com/MaddenVote through Wednesday, April 3rd.
