Lost Planet 3 has been delayed a second time. The game, which made a splash at last year’s E3, has been pushed back to an August 27th release date. Originally, the game was delayed from an early 2013 release date to a June release window this year.

No particular reason was given for the original delay, and no particular reason has been given for this delay either. When Polygon, the original breaker of the story, reached out to Capcom for comment, a representative said that it was delayed for, “business reasons,” but could say nothing more.

Lost Planet 3 has been quite impressive so far. The new mech mechanics and free roaming on foot section paint a picture of interstellar horror that is only rivaled by Dead Space. Now that the game has been delayed to August, we will likely see yet another near complete build at this year’s E3.
