Heists Finally Coming to GTA Online

Over the course of the past year, people have been wracking up some impressive numbers in Grand Theft Auto V's GTA Online. And that was before Heists arrived.

According to Rockstar, the past year that GTA Online has been active, there have been an amazing 33,834,423 players. These almost 34 million players made up almost four thousand crews across 224 countries across the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Also in this census are the top vehicles, weapons, and clothing items. Of the 422,124,680 vehicles owned, the most popular was the SuperCar... which seems to prove just how super it is. Of the 341,913,222 weapons owned, projectiles and assault rifles tied for most popular. Finally, the top three clothing items owned are the White Love T-Shirt, Black Vest, and White V-Neck.

Also in its post, Rockstar thanked the players for their continued loyalty and admit that while the developers made the game, it's the players who really make it what it is. Rockstar also talked about its upcoming release of the highly anticipated Online Heists mode which will be coming out as soon as the first GTA Online Update happens on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A mode that fans have been waiting for for close to a year, and one which should greatly improve the numbers on the next census.
