Could we see the return of one of our favorite music peripheral sets ever made? A recent survey by Harmonix suggests Rock Band could be gearing up for a next-gen encore.

Harmonix has released an online survey asking questions about interest in the Rock Band series, with one of its final questions gauging interests for a next-gen entry of the franchise, IGN reports. The survey asks participants how often they still play the current versions of Rock Band, whether or not they purchased DLC tracks and how many Rock Band-compatible peripherals do they own.

The survey ends with a question about how interested participants would be in a new Rock Band for Wii U, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Another question asks how interested they would be for a new Rock Band on PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

Harmonix is currently focused on developing Fantasia: Music Evolved for Xbox Kinect and its music-based first-person shooter, Chroma. Dance Central will also make a return this September on Xbox One.
