Dying Light Video: The Terror in Harran

In this intro for Dying Light, we're treated to some stylish visuals as the tale of the Harran virus and how it destroyed a city is played out for us.

The intro video is short and features lots of voice-over as we're given the short and sweet version of the origin of the crisis. A mysterious pathogen is the cause of the zombie horror in Harran and the local government saw fit to quarantine the city. The Global Relief Effort, or the GRE, continue to drop in supplies periodically in order to help sustain the survivors inside. Time will tell whether or not the decision to bomb the city will come to pass, but in the meantime, you'll be stuck inside surviving against the hordes of infected.

During the day, you'll be able to scavenge and craft, preparing for the night when the infected get super aggro as if they'd been waiting in line for a Black Friday doorbuster deals and just missed getting a sweet 50" TV for $100. Fight until the break of dawn, friends.

Dying Light will test your survival skills on Jan. 27, 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
