BioWare's next downloadable content expansion for Dragon Age: Inquisition will venture into the Deep Roads beneath Thedas in 'The Descent.'

The Darkspawn have started flowing from the Dwarven access points to the Deep Roads throughout Thedas. There are some nasty tremors causing quakes throughout the Deep Roads, inciting the Darkspawn and waking many of the ancient terrors in slumber. Now, it's up to the Inquisition to venture into the Deep Roads and find the cause of these rumblings. It's safe to say some kind of massive dragon is the cause, but I hope that I'm wrong. Given that 'Jaws of Hakkon' was extremely light on the companion interaction (which makes sense considering the DLC was made post-launch and the voice actors have likely moved on to new projects), I really hope this doesn't end with another giant dragon, but considering this expansion's theme and location, there's almost no surprise if it does. I hope we get more of Scout Harding, as the trailer suggests she might play a part. Nevertheless, we need more female Qunari characters. Where are they, BioWare?

Dragon Age: Inquisition — 'The Descent' will launch on August 11 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One (BioWare recently announced it's no longer making Dragon Age DLC for last-gen consoles). To put things into perspective, The 'Jaws of Hakkon' downloadable content expansion was priced at $14.99, and I have a feeling 'The Descent' will be similarly priced.
