Harmonix is getting ready to work its musical magic on the Xbox Kinect in this collaborative dance project with Disney.

Harmonix and Disney Interactive have announced the release date for its upcoming Kinect-based music game, Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved. The two studios have also announced some of the new content that will be debuting at E3 next week. Harmonix has unveiled its newest level, The Neighborhood, which looks like a colorful depiction of New York in the 1980s, when b-boying and graffiti tags were the in-thing (though we always pictured NYC in the early '80s more in line with the setting of 'The Warriors').

Harmonix has announced that the following hit songs will be added to Music Evolved: "Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode, "The Nutcracker Medley" by Tchaikovsky, "Take Care" by Drake, "Message in a Bottle" by the Police, "Galang" by MIA and "The Real Me" by The Who. We have also learned that Master Yen Sid's previous apprentice, Scout, will help guide players throughout Music Evolved's story.

Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved will launch on Oct. 21 for Xbox One and Xbox 360. A Kinect is required to play Music Evolved at all times.
