In a sea of World Championships, it's now Call of Duty's turn -- Xbox is holding a massive tournament and includes an awesome prize.

In just a few months, Call of Duty fans will have the chance to view the 2015 Call of Duty Championship in Los Angeles, which was announced on the game's official blog. It's been a pretty big year for eSports with many world championships, such as League of Legends, Dota 2 and Ultra Street Fighter IV each producing a surprising amount of viewers. There will be 32 teams battling it out to be the world champs in this contest with a prize of $1 million. There will be qualifying events taking place in Asia, Australia, North America, South America and Europe during February and March to pick out the teams who deserve to appear on the Los Angeles stage. Some of these qualifying finals will be broadcasted online, preceding the world championships.

The Xbox-hosted million dollar prize contest will be held from Mar. 27-29 and will bring with it the best of the best when it comes to Call of Duty players.
