Bloodborne’s Bloodletting Delayed Until March
From Software's next major title, Bloodborne, has created a lot of bloodlust throughout the gaming community. Unfortunately, we're going to have to wait a little bit longer to quench that thirst, as the game will be slightly delayed.
Posting on the PlayStation Blog, producer Masaaki Yamagiwa broke the sad news to the world in a brief message:
"Dear community,
It is with regret that I must inform you that Bloodborne will be slightly delayed.
While development continues unabated, we would like our team to deliver the best possible final experience. We were gratified by the feedback and data we received from those who participated in our limited Alpha test. The extra production time will also allow us to better integrate these learnings.
Bloodborne is now set to launch in North America exclusively on PS4 on March 24th, 2015.
Please look forward to some exciting Bloodborne news in early December. Thank you very much for your continued support."
As the original release date was Feb. 5 the delay isn't terribly bad, but it still means seven more weeks of not wielding a sword that transforms into a giant cleaver against a horde of monsters and over-paranoid townsfolk. We hope this is the only delay, because we really want to play this game.
Bloodborne looks scary, but it's got nothing on these retro games.
