Symphonica Review
Music games have perhaps been the single greatest development in next generation gaming. With Guitar Hero and Rock Band, every single song in an entire music catalog became a new game, so there were infinite new additions to every music gaming experience as long as the developer would update the downloadable content. Music gaming continued to thrive on iOS, as you can check out our list of the 10
Girls Like Robots Review
Apparently, Girls Like Robots is a show on Adult Swim. I’ve never heard of Girls Like Robots before, I don’t watch Girls Like Robots, and there seems to be no knowledge of Girls Like Robots required to play the Girls Like Robots game. However, it is one of the most addicting, stimulating, brain teasing game of any kind I’ve ever played.
10 Best iOS Farming Games
In compiling this 10 best farming games list, we realized how pretty much every real time farming game is the same. They just change the words. You always build some form of housing, food and even weapons (if it's a military game). There's some form of money and special achievement credits, and most of these games are free, but you're welcome to pay real money to speed up your progress and increas
Crazy Taxi Review
Crazy Taxi was the best game ever. I bought a Sega Dreamcast just to play this. Before that I’d go to the arcades that had sit down taxi versions of the game. It’s based on the amazing premise, you pick up a passenger and then you take them to where they’re going. Then you pick up another one and take THEM to where THEY’RE going. Then you pick up ANOTHER ONE! The game never has to end!
Kumo Lumo Review
I’m a big fan of games that can find the challenge in the simplest things. My all time favorite is Crazy Taxi (iOS review coming this week!) because it’s based entirely on picking up passengers and dropping them off. The whole farming game phenomenon has certainly taken this to the next level. So have the likes of Angry Birds.
Stunt Star: The Hollywood Years Review
As a lifelong movie buff, I’m always enticed by games about movie stunts even though they usually suck. Regular driving or flying games do a better job recreating movie stunts. Remember Stunt Island for the PC? Hopefully Stunt Star: The Hollywood Years will be the one that makes me feel like I’m in the movies.
Burrito Bison Review
Now come on, who comes up with these games? I mean, seriously, was there a board meeting where a committee suggested, “Bull slingshots himself into gummi bears.” and they voted on it? And what do burritos have to do with anything? Is it a reference to the running of the bulls in Spain? Because burritos are from Mexico.
Snail Bob Review
I’m glad I gave Snail Bob a chance. When I first started playing it I thought it was so easy it was boring. I mean, I would have been forgiving to a game for kids, but I need to not have considered showing Snail Bob charity. Lucky for me it proved to be mighty fun and a stimulating challenge, if not a total brain stumper.
Grow Away Review
Grow Away is like Angry Birds meets Space Invaders. Sounds like an awesome combination, right? And mostly it is. I’ll admit to spending way too many hours trying to clear a pesky level, growling at my iPhone as my fingers cramp. But that means it’s a good game, right?
Wimp: Who Stole My Panties Review
Remember in Wayne’s World when the corrupt arcade mogul came up with a game about a gelatinous cube? I think someone finally made that game. Wimp: Who Stole My Panties is not a scam to get crazy kids to plunk in arcade quarters, rather it is an awesome retro style side-scroller game with all the physics and mechanics of modern iOS games.
