Animal Crossing: New Leaf’s 3DS XL Bundle

Today's Nintendo Direct announced that Animal Crossing: New Leaf is receiving a big ol' Nintendo 3DS XL bundle, giving you another reason to spend both your time and money on the chance to live with a bunch of furry friends.

And as you can see from those giant numbers up above, the bundle will retail for $219.99, though you'll likely see a bit of a discount depending on where you shop.

The bundle includes a 3DS XL, decorated with icons from the game and looking a bit like a weird fruitcake, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf pre-installed on the SD card.

Some fans might want a physical version of the game, but for aficionados of digital downloads and the convenience they present, this should be a worthwhile purchase. And hey, it looks pretty snazzy too. In fact, you could probably attack a strap to it and pretend it's some kind of Animal Crossing-themed Louis Vuitton clutch or something
