In space, no one can hear you scream. In Alien: Isolation, no one can hear you get mauled and torn into shreds by a Xenomorph.

This newest trailer for Alien: Isolation is brief but sweet. Well, maybe not so much "sweet" as it is incredibly unsettling and probably culled from our nightmares, but it's still pretty cool. In it, we see Amanda Ripley spotting a Xenomorph near her location, so she preps a flashbang-like bomb to distract it.

Upon seeing the beastie, she tosses the bomb behind it and waits for it to go after the sound. Unfortunately, it just comes after her instead, tripping the poor girl and then getting ready to pounce only the way an H.R. Giger monster can. The screen goes black and #HOWWILLYOUSURVIVE flashes on the screen, giving you something to think about later tonight when you're alone in your bed and swearing that you think you heard something in the walls.

Watch the trailer above and look out for Alien: Isolation to launch on Oct. 7 for the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
