Aela the Huntress (Skyrim) – Cosplay of the Day

We've got one of the very first characters that the Dragonborn meets in Skyrim as our Cosplay of the Day. She's strong, she's fierce, and she's an all-around badass beauty. Let's take a look at Aela the Huntress.

She's a member of The Companions and also happens to have a real wild side as a member of the Circle. Aela's a huntress in more ways than one, so it's always a good idea to stay clear of her bad side. If you like having her around, she is able to marry the Dragonborn or simply tag along as a loyal companion on adventures, offering her expertise in ending lives. You might not be able to see it under all of the intimidating facepaint, but there's a beauty under there that's just waiting to be unleashed.

Cosplaying Aela is Chloe Dykstra, a cosplayer who hosts a show on the Nerdist Network centered on cosplay called Just Cos. The extremely accurate outfit she wears was made by Creature of Habit, otherwise known as costumer Vanessa Walton, and can be found on her Facebook page. We like how Chloe softens Aela's otherwise very harsh exterior and makes her look sexy while retaining her ferocity. That's quite a feat, if you ask us.
