The Louvre Museum continues to integrate gaming technology into its fabric, as the Xbox 360 Kinect plays an important role in an exhibit named Spotlight on the Antinoe veil.

Dating back to the 4th century AD, the Antinoe veil features renderings of Zeus' son Dionysus and Semele, who is Dionysus' mortal mother.

With the Kinect, viewers can check out the veil's unfinished artwork without even touching the material. High definition videos are employed to spotlight stories about certain sections of the veil, with viewers using the Kinect to pick out which narrative they want to watch.

Last spring the museum offered guided tours with the use of the Nintendo 3DS, an experience which resulted from a collaboration between Nintendo and the curators. Microsoft, however, did not have any input on the new exhibit.
