Some of the developers from the Alone in the Dark series started a new development team, and their first game is a noir adventure coming this spring.

On the PlayStation Blog, Ronan Coiffec, one of the creators of OSome Studio, has come forward with news about what the team has been working on, and so far it looks pretty, ahem, black and white. The team was introduced back at Eden Games when they were all working on Alone in the Dark 5 and now they're back working together, but this time on a different kind of horror story.

The team is taking it back to their roots with a storyline that encompasses what originally made the horror genre come alive -- "mature storytelling, strong characters, compelling environments and equal respect for tension and terror." They took their cues from everything that they thought would make the game something they would want to play -- jazz  music, black-and-white cinema and a real-life mansion in Normandy. The thriller will take place in Boston in the 1930s where you will have to survive all the things that go bump in the night with a game with scarce lighting and even less color to help you through it.

The game has a little over a month until it comes out on March 3, so get ready to check into the mansion of your nightmares in OSome Studio's White Night.
