War Thunder to Bring Historical Combat to PS4 Next Month

There are tanks, bombers and all sorts of war machines of yesteryear fighting it out in this upcoming,free-to-play, historical combat title.

Alexander Trifonov, Gaijin Entertainment's head of PR, has announced on the PlayStation Blog that War Thunder, a free-to-play, cross-platform war game, is coming to PlayStation 4 next month. War Thunder will provide massively multiplayer online combat for PS4 and PC gamers. War Thunder was released on PC last year, and hopefully the cross-platform gameplay between PC and PS4 users will lead to some interesting encounters.

The PlayStation 4 version of War Thunder will be coming out on June 3 and will include the Ground Forces expansion at its launch for free. This means that all 350 planes and the 150 different multiplayer missions, single-player campaigns and scenarios will all be ready to play when War Thunder releases. For those wondering, a PlayStation Plus subscription will not be required in order to download and play War Thunder.
