Though Xbox One players have had the update for a while, the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall will finally be getting the free co-op mode, Frontier Defense.

One of the first things that Titanfall announced in its eighth game update is the new game mode, Frontier Defense. This co-op mode allows you to team up with up to three other players to "defend a vital objective from increasingly intense waves of AI combatants." It's basically Titanfall's Horde mode. Respawn expands on the new game mode in its post, but the general gist is that you and your team will be facing down AI's that will be familiar to you as well as some new ones.

The new update will also include a ranked play beta, sudden death in capture the flag, map stars, a full-screen mini-map, new Titan insignias, private match burn card sets, and much, much more. You can get the full rundown over on the official site, and look forward to the update when it arrives on Dec. 1.
