Respawn Entertainment head Vince Zampella announced his company will not be unveiling any Titanfall 2 footage at E3 2015, or any other games for that matter.

Those hoping to see more of Respawn's wall-running, mech-focused FPS will have to wait. Vince Zampella, the CEO and founder of Respawn Entertainment, announced that his studio will not be revealing any new gameplay footage at E3 2015, which includes Titanfall 2. Zampella is the founder of Infinity Ward, which made the Call of Duty franchise a household name with its Modern Warfare series. Jason West, the president of Infinity Ward and lead designer of the CoD franchise, and Zampella were fired from Activision in 2010 due to "breaches of contract and insubordination." The two went on to form Respawn Entertainment with several of their former Infinity Ward team members who walked out on Activision after West and Zampella's dismissals. West officially retired from the video game industry a couple years ago.

Despite this small letdown, the big thing we're digging about Titanfall 2 is that it's going to have a multi-platform release, meaning that it's going to hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. This is due to the exclusivity agreement between EA and Xbox ending with the first game, as the original Titanfall only hit Xbox consoles and PC. This means that we'll be able to run around parkour-style and get our MechWarrior on with a DualShock 4. Zampella's announcement could mean that Titanfall 2 is still in the early stages of development. He previously said that this time around his team would like to focus on expanding the game's lore. Due to the multiplayer-only aspect of the first game, Titanfall's story was only revealed through short, pre-match sequences, which many people felt was lacking in trying to tell an enticing tale. Nevertheless, we can't wait until Zampella and his team decide to pull back the curtains on what they have in store for Titanfall's future
