There are a whole lot of people surviving the zombie apocalypse out there, if State of Decay's sales are any measure.

Undead Labs has announced that its zombie survival game, State of Decay, has sold two million copies. That's a lot of shuffle-stepping brain eaters. Of course, this doesn't count any of the downloadable content, so selling that many units of the base game is awesome.

In order to celebrate this milestone, Undead Labs invites players to help it share two million minutes of State of Decay throughout the month of October. Should this goal be met, one lucky fan will win a trip to Seattle (for residents of the United States only), to meet the team, get their hands on the Year One Survival Edition first and much more. Undead Labs will reveal more prizes during the month, so there's more on the way.

You can sign up via this Google form or go to Extra Life and join the Undead Labs team. Being on either of these lists will mark you for eligibility. Then all you have to do is stream, podcast or upload videos featuring your favorite State of Decay stuff, sharing it on social media with the hashtag "2MMinutes." Once you're done that, just shoot the link of your content over to "sanya at undeadlabs dot com," making a note of how many minutes you've spent in the game. Each link will count as an entry, so enter as much as you like!

Get those minutes piling up, folks, because the contest ends at 12:01AM PDT on Nov. 1, 2014. The grand prize winner will be chosen randomly at that time, with other prizes going out over the following month. Good luck getting to two million minutes!
