Flying Wild Hog gives Wang a hand as our favorite wisecracking ninja returns in this debut trailer for Shadow Warrior 2.

Devolver Digital has revealed the announcement trailer for Shadow Warrior 2, marking the return of both Lo Wang and developer Flying Wild Hog. The 2013 Shadow Warrior reboot changed up Lo Wang's Duke Nukem 3D-inspired antics, toned down the offensiveness (only a little) and enhanced the gunplay to create an awesome first-person shooter experience that blended together bullets, blades and the best kind of jokes — Wang jokes. Now, everyone wants some more Wang, but he's not alone this time.

“The incredible reception of Shadow Warrior from both longtime fans and gamers new to the series was overwhelming,” said Michal Szustak, Studio Director at Flying Wild Hog. “Shadow Warrior 2 will expand on and improve every element that made the original so unique and strike a balance between classic FPS action and modern design.”

The katana-swinging, uzi-firing and wisecracking Lo Wang is back as he must fight the hordes of demons trying to take over Earth. With everything procedurally-generated, each gunfight will be different, but we assure you, playing with Wang will feel better than ever.

“While the game is busting with stunning visuals and exquisite combat, it’s the near constant barrage of Wang jokes that is going to move product,” said Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker. “The kids love thinly veiled d--- jokes. Love ‘em.”

Shadow Warrior 2 will launch sometime in 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
