Talion and Celebrimbor are back in a new, "Game of the Year" edition of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, which will feature a ton of DLC.

Polygon reports that Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced a Game of the Year edition of Shadow of Mordor is in the works. Launching next week, this premium version of the game will include 'The Bright Lord' and 'Lord of the Hunt' DLC packs, as well as a ton of additional content, such as new skins, bonus missions and runes.

For those who haven't tried it yet, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor tells the tale that predates The Lord of the Rings trilogy. You play as Talion, a ranger of Gondor who lived by the Black Gates of Mordor and was guarding it during a presumed time of peace. When Sauron returned to power, Talion's regiments were decimated and he was killed, until he was resurrected with Wraith-like powers to extract his revenge on the invading orc forces. Trust us, any fan of Tolkien will want to experience this awesome game.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition will launch on May 5 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for $49.99. Despite it being on last-gen consoles (without the awesome Nemesis system), the Game of the Year Edition of Shadow of Mordor will not be hitting the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.
