Press Play, creators of Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, have announced that they're releasing a platformer currently called Project Totem on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Project Totem is described as a "playful yet precise platforming game where players control two totem pole pieces with one controller." Brothers Asger Strandby, game designer, and Bo Strandby, lead designer, came up with the idea when they wanted to bring something different to the platforming genre.

Project Totem will sport a single player campaign and local couch multiplayer, with a focus on cooperation between the two players. Rune Ditmer, Studio Director at Press Play, said, "It is one of those games, where the basic premise is hard to describe, but once you have the controller in your hand, it is so obviously fun that you immediately get it. So when Asger and Bo showed us the prototype at a party, it was a no-brainer to give them some time to elaborate on the core concept. And now a year later we are proud to announce Press Play’s second game for Xbox One.”

There is no exact release date for Project Totem at the moment, but it is set for a release in Fall 2014 for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. We'll keep you updated as more information about Project Totem is released.
