Sony is hoping you have nothing to do from Friday to Sunday when it will be bringing back another Free Multiplayer Weekend with PlayStation Plus.

Sony has announced that it will bring back its Free Multiplayer Weekend since it did so well the last time around. Fans will be able to play some of their favorite online multiplayer games, such as Battlefield Hardline, Helldivers and Destiny, without the requirement of a paid PlayStation Plus subscription this weekend. That's right — you don't have to be a proud, paying member of PlayStation Plus to get your headshot on. If you're one of the few people who don't have the money to cough up for the subscription (but can somehow afford a PS4), this weekend is for you.

Although we mentioned Battlefield Hardline, Helldivers and Destiny, don't get confused — those are not the only games that you can play multiplayer on this weekend for free. Any of the games that you own on PS4 will have free multiplayer as well (Final Fantasy XIV excluded, sorry).

Not only is Sony pleasing its fans by giving them free stuff, but it's promoting the benefits that PlayStation Plus can bring — specifically, online multiplayer. Plus, when people try stuff out for free and get addicted to it, they're likely to buy it afterwards. As for the free multiplayer weekend itself, it will begin on Friday, March 20 at 12:01AM PST and end on Sunday, March 22 at 11:59PM PST.
