No. 3 – Mortal Kombat – Kung Lao’s Fatality

Mortal Kombat is legendary for helping to spur the creation of the ESRB. While each of the fatalities are devastating to the poor fleshy being bearing the brunt of it, Kung Lao’s is particularly unwholesome. For all intents and purposes, he turns his hat into a table saw and cuts his opponents in half right down the middle and tosses each bloody half off to the side. Amongst all the spine ripping and impalings in the game, there is something so disturbingly intimate about Kung Lao’s choice of finishing moves.
