As Nintendo announces its plans for E3 2014, a hilarious collaboration video starring the team at Mega64 has hyped us up for the Big N's upcoming announcements.

Despite not having a live, on-stage conference, Nintendo is going to have an overwhelming presence at E3. A Nintendo Direct-based presentation the company calls the "Nintendo Digital Event" will use a new type of video program in order to unveil its plans for the future. The Nintendo Digital Event will be airing live on June 10 at 12 p.m. EST.

Nintendo will also be inviting 16 of the best Smash Bros. players in the world to the Nokia Theater in LA to partake in a live, invitational tournament where they will compete on the upcoming Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. for all to see. This event will be happening sometime during E3 as the Nokia Theater is just a block away from E3's location at the LA Convention Center.

Nintendo plans to offer an in-depth look at its upcoming games straight from the Product Development department of Nintendo of America, also known as the "Treehouse." This will also be a part of Nintendo Direct's programming during the weekend and will feature continuous, broadcast footage from Nintendo's booth at E3 so everyone can see Nintendo's upcoming games up close as a regular attendant would.

Lastly, Nintendo has announced the Super Smash Bros. Smash Fest that will be held at various Best Buy locations throughout North America. Participating Best Buy stores will let anyone play Super Smash Bros. on a Wii U during E3 (and hopefully beyond) in order to give the Smash fans a chance to get their hands on the long-awaited fighting game.

Regardless of what gets announced, Nintendo has left us eagerly waiting for E3.
