New Super Smash Bros. Screens Unveil the new Super Leaf, Beam Sword, Fire Bar and More
Super Mario Bros. 3's iconic Tanooki Suit power-up is back, along with many other nostalgic additions in this latest collection of Super Smash Bros. screenshots.
IGN has provided this latest batch of screenshots from both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros. that Nintendo has been posting on its various social media websites.
These pictures showcase a lot of the games' new mechanics and has clued us in as to how some of the new power-ups will work. We also get a look at Mega Man's Final Smash where every incarnation of the Blue Bomber throughout gaming history comes in, each firing off a Mega Buster in one giant, epic blast. The Super Leaf power-up will give you raccoon ears and a tail, allowing your character to fly Tanooki-style for some excellent aerial recoveries.
Prepare to get your smash on when Super Smash Bros. launches later this summer for Nintendo 3DS and this winter for Wii U.
