NetherRealm Studios is still hard at work at its upcoming release, Mortal Kombat X, but it took some time out to release art for its first DLC pack.

According to ShoryukenMortal Kombat X Premium Edition's Xbox Live listing was updated with some pretty sweet art relating to what will be the game's first skin bundle. The bundle will be dubbed the Samurai Pack and will include costumes for Kitana, Shinnok and Kenshi that will be inspired by feudal Japan. Unfortunately, we can't see if the pack will be available for separate purchase just yet. The only way to get your hands on these first skins will be to buy the Premium Edition bundle for $80.99. The developers have also come out to say that the game will include a skin for Scorpion that's based off of fan art, which is pretty cool.

The fan art came from a Kombat Kollective fansite that NetherRealm Studios launch as a way for fans of the Mortal Kombat series to show off their considerable talents. Fans have taken to it quickly and so far the Kollective houses many different pieces of cartoony concepts, comics, cosplay and even some awesome music tracks. This is where the developers found fear-sAs' Scorpion fan art, which you can check out the conception of above. While in-game footage of the skin has yet to be released, the skin has been dubbed "Kold War Scorpion" and you can expect to see it in the GameStop-exclusive Mortal Kombat X Limited Edition release.

For now, it's all a waiting game for all the fans out there who want to play Mortal Kombat X, which will be releasing on April 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC as well as PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime later this summer.
