Mario Kart 8 Video: Limited Edition Speeding Towards the UK

Race fans looking to get Mario Kart 8 in the UK have the option of getting a Limited Edition version of the game that comes packed with a few extra goodies.

The brief trailer above gives us a look at the Mario Kart 8 Limited Edition, which at the moment is only being offered to fans in the UK. The Limited Edition comes with the game, a Limited Edition Blue Shell Figurine and a Red Shell Keychain. If you pre-order the game from Nintendo UK's online store, you can also grab a bundle that includes a nifty Bullet Bill T-Shirt.

There's no word on whether or not this Limited Edition for Mario Kart 8 will make it to North America, but we'd give anything to have the chance to hold up a Blue Shell and watch our friends scatter in fear.

In related news, a tweet from Nintendo of Europe lets fans of classic Mario Kart know that they will be able to download the classic SNES game for the Wii U Virtual Console on March 27.

Mario Kart 8 will be released for the Wii U on May 30 in both North America and Europe.
