The studio behind DmC: Devil May Cry and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West has released a new video demo showcasing some its technical prowess.

According to DualShockers, a tech demo made by UK-based Ninja Theory for next-gen consoles has leaked online. Parts of this demo, titled "The Beggar's Opera," have appeared long ago on the studio's official website, but most of the video's footage has been taken down and the overall demo was never shown in its entirety. Twitter super-sleuth Superannuation has found an entire video of the tech demo as a part of an artist's portfolio (presumably from Ninja Theory).

The tech demo was made using Photoshop, Zbrush, UV Layout, Maya and an early version of Unreal Engine 4. DualShockers also mentions that Ninja Theory has been hiring developers and artists for an AAA Unreal Engine 4-based game. The demo itself features stunning footage of a beautiful girl being courted by a tall and mysterious individual as they get into an elevator. The elevator goes up the side of a massive building, showing that they are in a futuristic city whose skyscrapers tower far into the sky and go beyond the clouds.

Ninja Theory will have more actual games to show off later this year, but if this demo is any indication, we're already sad the developer won't be on hand at E3.
