inFAMOUS: Second Son was one of the big titles announced during Sony's PlayStation 4 reveal. Let's find out what we should expect from Cole McGrath's successor.

A post from Sucker Punch on the PlayStation Blog reveals that the new kid's name is Delsin Rowe and that he's a 24-year-old with big plans. The dude grew up right outside of Seattle, where a bus accident left him with powers similar to inFAMOUS' Cole MacGrath, although of a slightly different flavor.

After rescuing people from the burning bus, he didn't emerge with electrical powers, but discovered that he could turn into smoke. The game takes place seven years after we last saw Cole, so there goes the theory that Delsin is somehow MacGrath's son.

The Department of Unified Protection (DUP) was created to help safeguard the public from events like the ones in Empire City and New Marais. And because of Delsin's powers, he'd be considered a bio-terrorist and would be taken under DUP's custody.

The game is supposed to be thought-provoking as we see the world of heightened security through Delsin's eyes. It's supposed to make us question if a more secure world is worth paying for with our freedom. We'll see exactly how inFAMOUS: Second Son plans to do that once more information is revealed.
