Giana Sisters Trailer: From the Commodore 64 to the Xbox One
Sequel to the 1987 Commodore 64 title, The Great Giana Sisters, the Kickstarter-funded Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams has brought an old favorite back to life with puzzle-platforming action, responsive controls and a rockin' soundtrack. Thanks to the success of its last-gen release, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams Director's Cut will soon make its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
While The Great Giana Sisters was as clear of a Super Mario Bros. knock-off as you could make without getting sued, years later a new development team struck back with Giana Sisters DS, which broke away from the original game's Mario formula and establishing its own personality. Based on Giana Sisters DS' success, the team at Black Forest Games turned to Kickstarter to get another sequel made, and successfully obtained the funds to create Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams. This little-known franchise has had quite a tumultuous history, but no one can deny that Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is a mighty fine platformer. Now, it'll be a mighty-fine HD addition to the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams Director's Cut will be coming soon to Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
