Destiny: The Taken King PS4 Bundle Launching This September (Updated)

The PlayStation Blog has announced that pre-orders are now open for the Destiny: The Taken King PlayStation 4 bundle. This bundle has been confirmed to include a 500GB PS4 console with a sleek, Destiny-themed design. It will also include a matching controller and a physical copy of Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition. You can hit PlayStation's official website for this bundle, which contains links so you can pre-order it at Best Buy, Amazon, or GameStop. The bundle itself costs $399.99.

Bungie and Sony will release a limited edition PlayStation 4 that features a physical copy of Destiny: The Taken KingLegendary Edition and a sleek console makeover.

The PlayStation Blog has posted new details about a new limited edition PS4 bundle that adheres to the awesome theme of Destiny: The Taken King. Obviously, this bundle will feature Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition, which features Destiny's core game and The Dark Below and House of Wolves downloadable content expansions. It will include the game's massive third expansion, The Taken King. Players will also get an upgrade to the Digital Collector's Edition, which will include three exotic Guardian class items (featuring XP bonuses), three class-specific emotes, three armor shaders and the early access weapons pack.

The previous Destiny bundle that launched in Sept. 2014 featured a white PlayStation 4 design. This new bundle features a similar white overlay, but with a gold and grey trim that paints a map of the cosmos on your system, featuring a large Guardian's crest near the center of the 500GB console. Destiny: The Taken King is going to be the largest expansion added to the game yet, as each character class will gain a new subclass. You can also expect all kinds of new story missions, Crucible maps, Strikes, gear, guns and even a new Raid to appear in The Taken King.

Destiny: The Taken King will launch on Sept. 15, as will this new PS4 bundle.
