The former House of Halo has unveiled a new trailer for Destiny: House of Wolves, while its latest update stumbles before the expansion's launch next week.

Bungie has released a new trailer for next week's big House of Wolves expansion launch. The House of Wolves DLC will add a ton of new content to Destiny, including the Trials of Osiris arena, which features elimination-style 3v3 combat with a two-minute-long timer. The Prison of Elders matches adds a horde mode-like environment where you and two others must survive ongoing waves of enemies. There are also new Strikes, Story missions and new Crucible maps being added.

Unfortunately, Destiny Patch 1.2.0 has been hit with a big delay. Patch 1.2.0 is the pre-House of Wolves update that supposed to contain a variety of bug fixes. On top of this, Crucible matches are supposed to get increased rewards. In particular, Guardians will be getting double the amount of reputation and Crucible Marks from PvP matches. Your first daily Crucible match activity will also net you a new reward package each day. Furthermore, Legendary items will be added to the Crucible's post-game rewards tables.

"Our patch schedule for House of Wolves has changed slightly," a Bungie representative Tweeted. "1.2.0 will not deploy today. Please stand by for more information. Game on."

Here's what Bungie's community manager, DeeJ had to say about the delay:

05/13/2015: I've spoken with the finest minds at Bungie about Update 1.2.0 just moments ago. They're working to correct a late-breaking technical issue that would have impacted the way the game launches for a large portion of you. Progress is being made.

05/14/2015: Solutions for technical issues that have delayed the delivery of updates have been identified. Work is ongoing and we'll release the new content and the Patch Notes as soon as we can. Stand by for more information on timing.

Destiny's House of Wolves expansion will launch on May 19 for PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 owners. The expansion will cost $19.99 and is also included with the game's $34.99 Expansion Pass.
