Sledgehammer Games is working hard at updating Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and providing a special bonus to its top players.

Michael Condrey, the head of development and co-founder of Sledgehammer Games, has announced on his Twitter that his team is working hard at updating Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Condrey tweeted that the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of Advanced Warfare will be getting a patch on Dec. 2. This update will address optimizations, ranked play, weapon balancing, spawn fixes and map exploits. Unfortunately, there is no word yet when the last-gen versions of the game will be getting this update, but we expect that it will be coming out soon.

Sledgehammer Games' official Twitter revealed a picture for the Grand Master Character Gear set. This will be an exclusive set that only the top 100 ranked players in Advanced Warfare will be able to earn. It is likely that this will be an ongoing thing unlocked by breaking the top 100 list, so don't think that only 100 will be given out total. Ranked lists always shift and there are bound to be people coming and going from Advanced Warfare's top 100.

They better not be changing those futuristic gun sounds:
