Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

A recent photo of Raiden released by Platinum Games had a lot of fans hoping for a sequel to the sword-slashing action game, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

If you ever had any doubts as to how bad-ass Raiden was, Hot Toys' upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Raiden 1:6 scale figure should put those claims to rest.

With Thanksgiving and Black Friday coming up, we'd love to have the abilities (and arms), of the Cosplay of the Week, Mistral from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Those extra appendages would make it that much easier to swipe all of the delicious food and tastier sales.

Konami and Platinum have teamed for yet another installment of downloadable content for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. While the first add-on gave us a chance to play as antagonist Jetstream Sam, this new content features Raiden's computerized canine companion, LQ-84i (aka Blade Wolf). Due out next week, the Blade Wolf add-on for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will let you play as computerized canine LQ-84i.

Though Raiden's adventure may be over, Platinum Games and Konami are keeping Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance going with new downloadable content featuring some of his co-stars. The first add-on gives us a look at Desperado assassin Jetstream Sam, and tells the story of how he came to be a mercenary for hire. Unfortunately, it's not a very interesting tale.

The next add-on for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will star Raiden's computerized canine companion LQ-84i (aka Blade Wolf), and is due to arrive on May 9th.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance's second downloadable content pack is now available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
