Microsoft has announced that its subsidiary studio, 343 Industries, is making a spiritual successor to last year's Halo: Spartan Assault in the form of Halo: Spartan Strike.
Halo: Spartan Assault is a top-down, dual-stick shooter (think Robotron/Super Smash TV). Taking place between the events of Halo 3 and 4, there are still plenty of Flood and Covenant leftovers that Master Chief must have missed that you need to clear out.
