Any player of the popular space simulator EVE Online knows that PLEX is more than just a little annoying to lose. That's especially true when you start hitting equivalency of thousands of real world dollars.

The studio known for Eve Online, CCP, has announced it will be closing one of its major offices along with the departures of two of its executive staff members.

Last Wednesday, CCP unveiled a 16-foot tall monument in celebration of 11th anniversary of their galaxy-spanning MMO, Eve Online.

Sure, World of Warcraft has a lot of people partaking in player vs. player combat, but Eve Online might have outdone WoW, Aion, The Old Republic and every other massively multiplayer online game by having one epic, huge multiplayer battle.
