Warhammer 40K: Storm of Vengeance is a blessing to iOS enthusiasts who are in love with the popular franchise.

While it does introduce a host of new gameplay elements and shows off the new Fox Engine with excellent results, Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes is a bit of an empty experience.

It's big news this week for iOS lovers, thanks to the release of Square Enix's iconic title Tomb Raider. For just 99 cents, players can relive their first moments as Lara Croft, and even if the heroine has aged a bit since 1996, who cares? Downloading a classic experience on the cheap should be a no-brainer, but sometimes frustration can overshadow a seductive price tag.

When you read about an iPhone game titled Sensei Wars you automatically label it as your typical action game, or at least I did right off the bat. Thankfully it's a lot more than that as the world building and fighting game gives you enough tasks to keep you constantly busy for hours to come.

Mobile game movie tie-ins can be instantly forgettable, as these apps' sole purpose is to plug the feature's impending release. Anchorman 2: Scotchy Scotch Toss is far from an ambitious foray, but Ron Burgundy's sheer presence should save the day.

Crytek is known for pushing PC gaming to the limits with their Crysis series, so hearing that they would be headlining an exclusive launch title for the Xbox One left us very excited to see how they would handle the next gen hardware. Roller coasters are one of my earliest fears, and biting my lip as I experienced my first loop is a memory I'd soon forget. But with a bit of foolhardy bravado, I ended up loving the amusement park's go to ride, so I was more than willing to delve into the latest iOS release Coaster Crazy Deluxe. A bit of insanity prevails in this app, and maybe that's a good thing.

Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby in 8-Bit Land is a retro game with new age sensibilities. Written by Regular Show creator JG Quintel, the storyline has the adventurous pair getting sucked into the television set while playing a video game. Fans of the Cartoon Network program looking for an innocuous handheld experience with a few jokes thrown in may either be pleasantly surprised or disappointed
