Saints Row Film A Possibility For Koch Media

GamesBeat reports that the Saints Row franchise could be developed into a feature film if all the proverbial planets were aligned.

Publisher Deep Silver is releasing Saints Row 4 in August, and their parent company is Koch Media. With a hand in film production and distribution in Europe, Koch Media is searching its roster for possible movie projects. CEO Klemens Kundratitz said that one of his long term goals is to develop a cross platform project like Saints Row. "(Those movies are) not out of the question," said Kudratitz. "If a company can deliver that transmedia experience, we are probably one of the few that have the ambition and ability to deliver that."

In 2011, Koch sold the film rights to the Deep Silver title Dead Island, and that Lionsgate project is still in development.
