Globlins Review (iOS)

When you first open the Globlins app, it appears as if it’s a game solely dedicated for youngsters, especially when you take a look at the Cartoon Network logo. Surprisingly enough, Globlins is a cool interactive little iPhone game that’s filled with gooey fun for people of all ages. The difficulty of the game is rather sporadic, but it doesn’t deter you from trying to run through the various levels.

Glorkian Warrior: Trials Of Glork Review (iOS)

Appearances can be deceiving, and that’s exactly what Glorkian Warrior is for the average player. When you first open up the game, it seems to be nothing more than a cute kids app, but once you start playing an overflow of frustration starts seeping out. It’s not because the game is bad - it isn’t at all - but it sure does keep players on their toes.

Ava’s Quest is a slick looking new game that recently jumped out on the scene, and the earthy colors can definitely lure you in. When you’ve dealt with a couple hours worth of gameplay you begin questioning whether or not Ava’s Quest was a decent buy. Once you march your way through the first couple levels, Stubies reels you in with its sleek graphics, almost hypnotic little jingle and increasing amount of difficulty, continually testing the player.

Every year there’s a number of card games that come out, with each one determined to make a mark. Kahuna has risen up in the ranks as a card game, but the iPhone/iPad version still needs a bit of work done in the technical department in order to let players enjoy the application.

Mega Jump 2 Review

There are quite a few app games that require you to move your iPhone/iPad any which way in order to play, but after awhile that can become overly frustrating or tiresome. While some of the controls in Mega Jump 2 are a little too sensitive, it still doesn't stop the app from being bouncy good fun for all.

Cut The Rope 2 Review

Small puzzle games like Cut The Rope 2 challenge the player not just to beat each level, but to achieve the highest score possible. This kind of simple challenge can quickly turn into a monstrous task as you're faced with a number of obstacles preventing you from bringing the tasty sweet treat to Om Nom, along with obtaining enough stars to beat each level. Cut The Rope 2 isn't entirely original in it's layout, but the cute, adorable design, music and game play make this sequel absolutely addicting. Continue reading…

Sensei Wars Review

When you read about an iPhone game titled Sensei Wars you automatically label it as your typical action game, or at least I did right off the bat. Thankfully it's a lot more than that as the world building and fighting game gives you enough tasks to keep you constantly busy for hours to come.

Zya Review

Zya is a rather harmless game, urging those who play it to really get in touch with their musical side as they create a number of semi-unique tunes. It's a great way for younger audiences to figure out how bands really work together in order to make a certain style. Unfortunately, in Zya you're automatically prone to paying out of your pocket quite a bit in order to expand your musical library.

If you're a person who's into the most adorable-looking games or videos on the internet, Greedy Grub is up your alley. The cute world-building game on the surface appears as if it will be riddled with hours of mindless entertainment as you gradually expand on this squishy-looking virtual area, and it is to a degree. After some time of gameplay Greedy Grub lures you into that deadly trap of making you purchase a couple of virtual items in order to have your world grow faster, and in a way it's not worth it.

Seven Dwarfs: The Queen's Return Review

In Disney's Seven Dwarfs: The Queen's Return, our villain from the original Snow White tale is back to wreak havoc on Snow White's happy ending by trapping her and most of her friends in a creepy forest. Through a number of quests, it's your mission to save everyone and restore peace to the once happy land. The game doesn't really feel like a continuation of the Snow White story but it gives you an excuse to explore more of the world that this Disney princess resides in.

Rabbids Big Bang Review

The screaming bunnies are back, but this time in the form of an iPhone/iPad game with Rabbids Big Bang. In this they pushed aside Rayman and left the crazy rabbits to their own devices as they float or fly around in space getting coins and other such items. The Raving Rabbids may be one of my favorite video game characters to be made in the past decade, mainly because they're so stupid and cute at the same time. Rabbids Big Bang is a mixture of the Angry Birds structure with far cooler graphics, creating hours of addictive gameplay.

Kingturn Underworld RPG Review

An app like Kingturn Underworld RPG on the surface may appear like too bulky of a game to enjoy on your phone, but it's the complete opposite. Despite the fact that the graphics look rather dated, this game is filled with enough humor and action to keep your attention for hours on end.
