Zomboko Entertainment, a new game developer consisting of one person, Artyom Mironov, has announced, via DSO Gaming, an upcoming FPS for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC called Crossing the Line.

Little is known about the game, but Zomboko has announced that it will be powered by Crytek’s CRYENGINE. Described as a mystical first-person-shooter, Crossing the Line will follow a protagonist who uses his ability to travel between this world and the world of the dead in order to rescue his beloved. Zomboko is aiming for a cinematic, realistic world that immerses the player.

Zomboko commented on the game in the announcement:

“Though, you can’t do it at any moment, shifting will be availabe only after a certain sequence of player actions. But don’t overuse this ability – very frequent visits of the dead world could hurt the main character or even kill him. Initially, the visual style was intended to be depressive, dark but later, it was decided to make more cinematic and realistic everything around the player for deeper immersion into game world and its events.“

The project is in its earliest stages, so regular updates about Crossing the Line should be forthcoming. Until we get some more info, enjoy the screenshots provided by Zomboko.
