Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag has a new protagonist, and a bold new setting. Take a look at them both in these brand-new trailers.

While the footage below has been leaked, pulled, posted, removed, and bounced around all over the place these past few days, Ubisoft has finally released the official versions for everyone to enjoy.

The first trailer is the actual announcement video, detailing some of the action and excitement that awaits on the high seas and beyond. There isn't a whole of lot gameplay per se, but what's on display is a bit more than mere proof of concept.

The second video is focused on Edward Kenway, the new ancestral protagonist in Black Flag. He definitely looks like a bad ass, but we'll reserve our final judgment until we can see him in action ourselves.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag will be out on Oct. 29th for the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and Xbox 360.
