This new trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 3D reminds us it's the main reason why we want a New Nintendo 3DS XL.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is the newest title coming out from Monolith Soft and the latest Nintendo Direct has shed some light on what you can expect from this anticipated RPG. Some new features in this game include the ability to check out a bunch of the 3D models of your characters as well as listening to the entire soundtrack of the game straight from your New Nintendo 3DS XL — you can even listen to it with your handheld closed (we mean the system, not your actual hand). Since the game has been remade for the New Nintendo 3DS XL, you can experience everything that you loved about the original Wii story on the go.

You're once again off to save the world, or the future, as Shulk, who has one awesome sword. However, there's a lot that Shulk still doesn't know about who he is and why he's here. You will fight your way against different Mechons that are out to stop you. The good news is you're not alone, as Shulk will have a full group of party members to help him save the world.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will be launching on April 10, which is just around the corner. Just make sure that you have the New Nintendo 3DS XL as the game won't work on any of the older 3DS models.
