This new Internet TV service has an exclusive deal with Microsoft, bringing live channels and Video-On-Demand programming to the Xbox One for only $20 a month.

The Xbox Wire has announced that Sling TV will be launching on Xbox One with an exclusive offer over the next few weeks. For those who don't know, Sling TV is backed by DISH and offers all kinds of television services, including a variety of channels (family, news, sports, entertainment), Video-On-Demand, the best of Internet videos and more. There's no commitment or timed contracts, hardware to return or any sleazy side shenanigans -- just $20 a month to have access. Microsoft has announced that the Xbox One will be Sling TV's exclusive console when it launches. On top of this exclusivity, all Xbox Live subscribers will be getting an exclusive extended free month of Sling TV.

”Xbox is onboard as the first gaming console where Sling TV will be available,” said Bassil El-Khatib, Vice President of Sling TV. “We created the live Internet TV service for millennial consumers underserved by the pay-TV industry. One of the keys to reaching this audience is being on the devices they use, and we know millions of consumers are turning on their Xbox every day to access content they love.”

Sling TV is expected to launch on Xbox One soon and will cost $20 a month. Xbox Live subscribers must sign up at Sling TV's website for the extended free trial.
