XBLA, PSN Getting Turtle Power This Summer

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Activision’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, based on the Nickelodeon cartoon, will be out this summer.

The reveal comes from a leaked trailer courtesy of AllGamesBeta. The teaser is less than 40-seconds long, but still gives you a decent idea of the action and graphics to expect from the downloadable title. Up to four people can play together online. TMNT: Out of the Shadows will be available on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, and is being developed by Red Fly Studios.

This is the first of three games from Activision and Nickelodeon’s TMNT licensing deal, though it’s not clear if all the games will be downloadable only, or if any of the remaining games will be full-fledged retail titles. A more official reveal will likely be coming soon.
