World of Warcraft's Cinder Kitten Raises Money for Sandy Victims

EDIT
|

If you play World of Warcraft and recently bought one of the $10.00 Cinder Kitten pets, you'll be glad to know that you've helped raise over $2.3 million to aid victims of Superstorm Sandy.

And doesn't that just give you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside? Actually, that would be the proper response since the Cinder Kitten is both warm and fuzzy itself. Back in December, Blizzard announced that they'd give 100% of the profits from the Kitten to the American Red Cross to help the victims who have been displaced or suffered losses because of Sandy. And in that month alone, at least 230,000 players opened up their hearts and wallets for the cause.
