The Poland-based developers behind the well-received Witcher series have announced that they are working on a mobile title that will be due out by the end of the year.

Eurogamer reported (and translated) that CD Projekt Red has stated that it is working on a new project. "[It's] a multiplatform mobile game, made with advanced technological capabilities of tablets and smartphones in mind," a CDPR representative said. "Thus, we are entering a completely new territory in terms of gameplay and business model, realizing our strategic plans to enter the mobile gaming market."

CD Projekt Red has stated that their official announcement about this mobile title is going to happen very soon. They also announced that this upcoming mobile game will be accompanied with the launch of a beta test. In the meantime, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is expected to have a launch window of Feb. 2015 and will come out for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Still no word on when to expect more on Cyberpunk 2077.
